Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status

Have you ever seen this message "Problem with MergeList"  this is the tip to fix it

 

This is the solution:

# Edit /etc/apt/apt.conf OR  /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/debconf70   depend of your ubuntu version

 

add this line APT::Cache-Limit 16777216;
